Get ready to RUN!!!!!!
The Physicians Centre Hospital is teaming up with the Twin City Mission to host the Twin City Trot, a fun 5k run and 2 mile walk. The proceeds of this endeavor will go to the various arms of the Twin City Mission. Whether you are a competitive runner looking to get a warm up for a bigger race or someone who recognizes the importance of the Twin City Mission, this event is for you. We exist to support the TCM by providing a fun, family-friendly atmosphere where people can enjoy a beautiful Texas morning walking or running along the most scenic race route in the Brazos Valley. We look forward to having you join us this year.
The Twin City Mission is a non-profit organization that encompasses multiple area of charity within the Brazos Valley. A few of the main focuses include Homeless and Housing Services, Youth and Family Services, Domestic Violence Services and Donation and Resale Services. The Brazos Valley and surrounding Counties are wonderful places to live because of the caring people who support endeavors such as the Twin City Mission. Here are a few details:
- Cost: $25 for the run or the walk in advance. Free race T-shirt included with pre-registration. $35 on the day of the race.
- Date: Febuary 25, 2012 (02/25/2012)
- Time: 8:00 AM (Registration opens at 7:00 AM)
- Route: Choose the 5K or the 2 mile route from the links section
- Proceeds will go to the Twin City Mission
